Two Years at Sea / Bogancloch
UK, 2011 / 2024
British artist and filmmaker Ben Rivers' bold experimental works lie between documentary and fiction. This two-disc Blu-ray set brings together his films about Jake Williams, a man who lives a life of solitude in the Scottish Highlands, fulfilling the radical dream he had as a younger man. Jake goes about his daily routine in the near-complete absence of any human ties, with Rivers' camera functioning as the lone connection between him and the world beyond his self-imposed isolation. These films chart a subtly changing life in a radically changing world.

Mother Joan of the Angels
Poland, 1960
A landmark of Polish cinema, this celebrated film is based on the documented story of the ‘demonic possession’ of a group of nuns that led to the burning of a priest at the stake in Loudun, France in 1634 (also the basis for Ken Russell’s notorious 1971 film The Devils).
Mother Joan of the Angels is presented from a stunning new 4K restoration.
